Founded in 1993, the Château de Lucey winery is situated in the Savoyard foreland, between Yenne and Chindrieux. Its 650 acres of vineyard are solely located in the district of Lucey (in Savoy).
Christophe Martin, its winegrower since 2010, cultivates three varieties of grapes among which two are emblematic of the Savoy region: the Roussette de Savoie, white wine stemming from the vine Les Altesses, and La Mondeuse red wine. The Pinot Noir represents 10% of the production.
The winery started using organic farming methods in 2012 and is currently transforming its 2013 vintage into acquiring the Organic Agriculture Certification.
